President & CEO- Description
As President and CEO you will be the leader of ACERT at a time of dynamic growth and opportunity. Your main responsibility is to oversee the day-to-day operations of this federal corporation. Your strong organization and communication skills will assist you in your networking communications with external organizations and within your executive and board. You are committed to the members and your staff, and you have the ability to lead the corporation during a time of rapid expansion of services, budget, and administration, while maintaining the strong foundation of member dedication.
Required:
* strong organizational, communication and leadership skills
* experience in campus emergency response within the past 2 years
* proven track record of strong leadership
* access to e-mail and computer
Recommended:
* knowledge of daily operations of non-profit management
* familiarity with parliamentary rules of order
* previous leadership experience in emergency response

Position to be filled by election. This position reports to the Board of Directors and the General Assembly. Term: April 1 to March 31
