Since its inception in 1996 ACERT has almost doubled its membership as it continues to support, promote, and advocate emergency care on Canadian post-secondary campuses. ACERT is a volunteer-based, federally incorporated charitable organization; as such we greatly rely on the executive, board of directors, staff, and member teams for their contributions to campus emergency response.

Over the years our member teams have come to depend on ACERT to host an annual Mixer competition, support the annual national conference (NCCER), produce a quarterly newsletter entitled Rumours, and produce various resources such as the Start-up a Team Package, and competition guidelines.

ACERT's successes rest heavily on our ability to effectively communicate with the teams we represent. We must continually listen and respond to the voice of our membership so as to ensure we adhere to our mandate while continuing to grow as an association, and it is in this regard that our web site is particularly important. This web site is a portal for campus emergency response information and it acts as a major link to the nation-wide campus emergency response community. Therefore, I urge you to take a close look at the contents of these pages and to feel free to respond with your comments and suggestions.
