Dear Responders,
On behalf of the NCCER 2008 Organizing Committee, I would like to extend a warm invitation to attend NCCER 2008 at Trent University in Peterborough February 21-24, 2008.
This year is an exciting year for us. For the first time, we will be participating in a live inter-agency emergency exercise, Operation Collaboration. For this event, we require a number of volunteers to serve as first aiders (maximum of 5 teams), victims, by-standers, and Sit-Controllers. If you would like to participate, please indicate this on your registration form and bring with you the waiver. (We must have the signed waiver upon arrival, there will be none available at check-in, so please read and sign prior to arrival). There are only a limited number of volunteers required, so get your form in early as we will be assigning tasks on a first-come, first-served basis.
When we receive your registration, we will confirm by email your role in the exercise and there will be a mandatory briefing Thursday after supper. So please plan your arrival accordingly.
Of course, we also have exciting seminars planned and awesome social activities. To wrap up the weekend, we have some elaborate and challenging sits planned for the competition that will test the mettle of every competitor!
Our committee has been working hard since last spring so we are excited and confident that great times are waiting for you at Trent, once again.
Registration for ACERT team members will cost $85.00 each. Competition Team registration is $50 per team (three people).
